2. Building of Former Gatlinburg Residents

Did you know that our restaurant is actually built on tradition? The building that houses The Peddler Steakhouse was once the home of Charles Ogle, a fourth generation Gatlinburg merchant. In 1958, he and his wife built the home of their dreams on the Little Pigeon River. Today, we still honor the Ogle family in a number of ways. Our Gatlinburg TN restaurant still has the same stone chimney that was in the original Ogle cabin, and our dining room was built around a rock patio that was the most unique feature of the home.
