Tucked behind the main road this restaurant has beautiful seating along a creek. The steak and chicken was prepared to perfection. The service was efficient and timely. I particularly enjoyed the free add-ins to the salad; marinated artichoke hearts, smoked oysters, etc. Definitely worth your attention. The fresh oysters as an appetizer were humongous and the turtle cheesecake was much prettier before we got ahold of it!
Everything was wonderful. The food was delicious of course, but the service was impeccable. Our server Jody was on point with everything, from refilling the water to extra butter brought right on time. When we’re back in Gatlinburg, I will definitely be having dinner here.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The salad bar was full of options. Atmosphere sitting above the river was perfect for a romantic dinner. I ordered the combination NY strip and grilled shrimp. It was excellent. No steak sauce needed. 5 star experience.
Ate here for our 10 year Anniversary and was very pleased. We both had always heard good things about the Peddler and wanted to try it out. We finally did and it did not let us down. We called ahead but ended up arriving 30 minutes early. They actually got us seated very quickly. The service was amazing. They really know how to take care of people. Salad bar was good also with a lot of options. The steak was great and cooked perfect medium rare. The Peddler is a must eat if you are visiting the Smokies
