About The Peddler Steakhouse
The tradition of The Peddler starts with our building! It was once the home of Charles “Earl” Ogle, Sr., a fourth generation Gatlinburg merchant. Back in 1958, Earl and his wife Beth built their dream home on the banks of the Little Pigeon River where they found tranquility.
In 1976, the mountain home was transformed into a restaurant after undergoing extensive renovations. After years of upgrades and improvements, The Peddler today stands as the best Gatlinburg restaurant you’ll find!
